Sailing Adventures – Cruising
These books about cruising under sail cover quite a range of activities, written by authors with equally diverse backgrounds, from Bernard Moitessier to Annie Hill, Frank & Margaret Dye to Emma Bamford.
Annie Hill’s Voyaging on a small Income is so much more than a how-to-do-it book, it is more a philosophy than a set of instructions. Every long-term cruiser will have a dog-eared copy of this book stashed away somewhere on their boat – alongside the canned tuna and Kilner jars – you’ll have to read the book… Frank Dye did incredible things with a Wayfarer dinghy and Emma Bamford jacked in a high pressure job to go wandering – two great books are the result. A varied selection – every one worthy of a place on your bookshelf.
