A Passion for Sailing

This website is aimed at anyone with a passion for sailing boats. We have helpful articles around yacht maintenance and seamanship and a shop full of sailing goodies. You may be a lifelong sailor or a beginner – there is something here for everyone.

The shop is stocked with books to inform and inspire sailors of every persuasion, whether your thing is building clinker dinghies or sailing around the world, we have something for you.

We imagine you sail a modern GRP sailing cruiser – or aspire to do so – either through ownership or chartering. We teach sailing and seamanship through the Milebuilding Club for those who haven’t taken the boat-ownership plunge and who live within striking distance of the Solent. The club is a very cost-effective, non-intensive and proven route to all-round skippering competence.
